Dr. Kane was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but lucky enough to spend his summers in Cape May, NJ. His father, an engineer, and his mother, a nurse, raised their 3 boys in Montgomery County, PA. He inherited his father's ability to solve problems and his mother's empathy and desire to care for others.

Dr. Kane received a bachelor's degree in Biological and Biomedical Engineering from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University. Afterwards, he returned to Philadelphia where he received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) Degree from The University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Kane is passionate about education. Throughout his years in undergraduate and dental school, he tutored younger students to help advance their careers. He continues to advance his own training by attending continuing education courses, reading, and pursuing a fellowship in the AGD.

Dr. Kane loves to spend time with family and friends, listen to audiobooks and podcasts, and enjoy outdoor activities like biking, playing basketball, hiking, fishing, and kayaking. He is thrilled to be a Sunshine Dentistry team member where he brings the state-of-the-art knowledge and techniques he's acquired through his education and training.

Dr. Zack was born and raised in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, where he grew up surrounded by a close-knit family who instilled in him a strong work ethic, compassion for others, and a drive to serve his community. His father, Dr. Eric V. Thomas sparked his early interest in oral healthcare and inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping patients feel confident in their smiles.

After graduating from Middle Township High School in 2017, Dr. Zack earned his Bachelor of Science from Howard University in Washington, D.C.. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. During his time at Tufts, he distinguished himself through his commitment to excellence in patient care, restorative dentistry, and comprehensive treatment planning. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is dedicated to bringing patients the highest standard of modern, evidence-based care.

Dr. Zack is passionate about continued learning and strives to stay current with advancing techniques, materials, and technologies. He regularly participates in continuing education and is an active member of the American Dental Association, National Dental Association, and New Jersey Dental Association, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and long-term service within the Sunshine Dentistry team and the Cape May County community.

Outside the office, Dr. Thomas is a Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys traveling, bowling, staying active, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. He is excited to be part of Sunshine Dentistry and looks forward to providing compassionate, personalized care for patients of all ages.

Office Manager Carol has been with Sunshine Dentistry since 1999. Carol was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She moved to New Jersey in 1986 with her husband Craig. They have been happily married for 33 years. Carol has twin daughters and a one year old grandson she adores. Carol has enjoyed the last twenty years at Sunshine Dentistry; it's like her second home. Carol loves going to the beach, traveling, and spending her free time with her family and friends.

Penny lives in Seaville with her husband John. Penny and John just celebrated their 30 year anniversary in October 2018. Penny started working at Sunshine Dentistry in 2013 at the front desk and is now responsible for our presence in our community. She has two daughters and two grandchildren who they spoil, with another one on the way in May of 2019. Penny is a big Disney enthusiast and loves to go to Disney World as much as possible with her family. Her other interests include baking, cooking, being creative and shopping!
