Sedation Dentistry
Relax through your dental visit with safe, effective sedation options including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV sedation tailored to your comfort level and treatment needs.

Consultation and Planning
We'll discuss your anxiety level, medical history, and the procedure planned to recommend the best sedation option for you.
Pre-Treatment Instructions
You'll receive clear guidelines about eating, drinking, and medications before your appointment. For oral or IV sedation, arrange for someone to drive you home.
Comfortable Treatment
Your sedation will be administered and monitored throughout your procedure. You'll feel relaxed and calm while we complete your dental work.
Recovery and Aftercare
We'll monitor you until you're ready to leave. Nitrous oxide wears off quickly; oral and IV sedation require rest at home with a responsible adult.
Will I be completely unconscious with sedation dentistry?+
It depends on the type of sedation. With nitrous oxide and oral sedation, you remain awake but deeply relaxed. With IV sedation, you enter a sleep-like state and will have little to no memory of the procedure, though you can still respond to instructions.
Is sedation dentistry safe?+
Yes. We carefully review your medical history and monitor you throughout the procedure. Nitrous oxide and oral sedation are very safe for most patients. IV sedation is administered by trained professionals with appropriate monitoring equipment.
Can I drive myself home after sedation?+
If you receive only nitrous oxide, you can typically drive yourself home once the effects wear off. For oral sedation and IV sedation, you must have someone drive you to and from your appointment and stay with you for several hours afterward.
